Various patterns of energy imbalance, called syndromes, occur. Moreover, each organ has an associated pulse, located on the radial artery. These inform the practitioner about the energy of that organ.  The tongue also plays a role in diagnosis. The practitioner will select points on the pathways based on the diagnosis. The treatment aims to restore the overall energy balance. This improves both the person’s specific condition and their general well-being. This is a distinctly different technique from dry needling. This trend has gained popularity in recent years. Primarily, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and osteopaths use trigger points and dry Needling to treat muscle pain.
