Heidi Bader Acupuncture Practitioner in Redhill and Coulsdon Surrey
I am Heidi Bader, an Acupuncture Practitioner. I have always had an interest in natural forms of medicine and healing. My horticultural background also instilled in me a love of the natural world.
My interest in Chinese Medicine and training as an Acupuncture Practitioner started after spending time in China in 1992. Observing traditional forms of medicine was very interesting. The attraction to this form of medicine is its ability to work with the laws of nature. This enables the body to help itself.
I began training at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading in 1996. I graduated and gained my Licentiate in 1999. This training combines both the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Conventional Medical Sciences.
I am also a member of the British Acupuncture Council. I am also an active member of my Regional Practitioner Group. We support the Continual Professional Development of qualified practitioners.
Moreover, I have been an active member of the Regional Practitioner Group in Ripley. The group supports the Continual Professional Development of qualified practitioners. I have also helped run this on a voluntary basis for over 10 years. Our group has thrived and expanded over the years and is one of the largest groups in the UK.
We also welcome Practitioners who have come from different backgrounds. The group provides Practitioners with the opportunity to network with each other. We usually have an interesting topic for discussion. This can be anything from how we treat disease using styles of acupuncture, practice management and case histories. Also, updating ourselves with recent changes in the profession issued by the British Acupuncture Council
Practitioners trained in other therapies are available. I am happy to refer on where necessary. These include McTimoney Chiropractic, Structural Specialists, Deep Tissue Massage, Physio/Pilates instructors, counsellors and Nutritional Therapists.
I also have many hobbies – I love anything outdoors, gardening, camping, dancing, cooking for family and friends, walking and qigong.
